Tune your car for peak power or torque with the Adjustable Cam Sprokets. Altering cam timing moves the powerband higher or lower, allowing you to tune the car for the most power at the RPM you want it. Independantly adjusting intake and exhaust cam timing also allows you to increase or decrease valve overlap, so you can custom-tune your cams to go with the rest of your engine combination. Perfect for both naturally aspirated or forced induction engines. Typical Gains are 5 to 8 HP on a midly modified Focus. Used on the Steeda #22 Race Car. These cam sprockets allow up to 12 degrees advance or retard. The 5-stud arrangement holds your adjustment securely, and won't strip or slip like weaker cam sprockets. Large Timing marks are on the outer edge for better visibilty and easier adjustment.
